On the evening of April 8th, the Uyghur mosque hosted its second iftar event of the year, which was attended by members of the local Muslim community. The Iftar, which marks the breaking of the daily fast during the holy month of Ramadan, included a variety of traditional Uyghur dishes such as lamb kebabs, naan bread, and plov. The event provided an opportunity for community members to come together and share in the spirit of Ramadan, while also raising awareness about the ongoing persecution of the Uyghur people in China. The evening concluded with evening prayers and a message of hope for a brighter future.
